by August 26th, 2021

Opposition Spokesman on Health Dr. Morais Guy is reiterating that additional no movement days will be needed to curb the current rise in Covid-19 cases.

The first phase of the 7 no movement day ended on Tuesday with the second phase to begin on Sunday August 29 to Tuesday August 31 and on Sunday September 5.

Speaking with Irie Fm News Dr. Guy said he maintains his standpoint that with the more transmissible Delta Variant now in the island, the additional seven days is necessary for a reduction in cases and hospitalizations.

He noted that due to the Delta Variant deaths will be recorded in and out of hospitals.
