Opposition Spokesperson on Education Dr. Angela Brown Burke has welcomed the decision by the Education Ministry to make adjustments to this year’s sitting of the Primary Exit Profile, PEP, exams.

Dr. Brown Burke and other stakeholders had raised concern about the readiness of students for the exams.

The Education Ministry has complied with the requests to postpone the Ability Test component, and cancel the Performance Test.

The Curriculum Test remains as scheduled.

Dr. Brown Burke expressed appreciation to the stakeholders for their efforts in getting the government to reconsider the PEP exam schedule.
