by June 27th, 2018

Pacer Alzarri Joseph is set to test his return to cricket as part of a 12-man squad to face Bangladesh in a two-day encounter at the Coolidge cricket ground, starting tomorrow.

Joseph is recovering from a stress fracture injury sustained last year in New Zealand. Since April he has been involved in an intense program focused on bowling and strength and conditioning. He also played in an Antigua-based T/20 competition last month.

The squad led by captain Shamrah Brooks, John Campbell, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Jahmar Hamilton, Shimron Hetmyer, Keon Harding, Shayne Moseley, Gudakesh Motie, Romario shepherd, Vishaul Singh and Odean Smith.

The team will be coached by Graeme west – with sir Curtly Ambrose as assistant coach.

The first test will also be in Antigua at the sir Vivian Richards cricket ground from July 4 – 8. The ‘Windies just completed a drawn 3-test series against Sri Lanka.
