West Indies Women will have to beat Pakistan on Monday if they are to win the three-match One Day International series.
It comes after they went down by 34 runs in the second ODI which was played at the ICC Academy in Dubai to leave the series tied at 1-1.
The home team batting first were dismissed for a competitive 240 in 49.4 overs.
They were led by player of the match Sidra Ameen who fell just 4 runs short of a century when she was run out while on 96 by Windies captain Stafanie Taylor. This after putting on 102 for the 4th wicket with Nida Dar who made 81.
Shakera Selman (2-33) and Deandra Dottin (2-55) were the pick of the Windies bowlers.
The visitors in reply were bowled out for 206 despite an impressive 76-ball 82 by Natasha McLean, her maiden ODI fifty.
The rest of the Windies line-up wilted against Pakistan’s bowling attack. While Diana Baig claimed 4 for 34, Sana Mir and Nashra Sandhu picked up seven wickets between them.
WIW fell short by 34 runs but it makes the series all that more exciting!
Series now leveled 1-1 with all to play for on Monday.

The Windies started their innings slow, adding just nine runs in four overs, which included two maidens. The pressure mounted and ultimately, Pakistan drew their first blood. Dottin, who had struggled her way to a 15-ball four, fell to Baig in the fifth over. Kycia Knight and Shemaine Campbelle did not last long and the Windies were reduced to 27/3 within 11 overs.
Chedean Nation played out 41 balls for her 23 runs and tried to support her captain in the middle. However, she fell to Sandhu after a 55-run stand and Pakistan got back into the game. Taylor, who made 48, was dismissed two overs later leaving a little too much to do for McLean in the latter half of the chase.
