Paula Pinnock H.O.D of Special Olympic World Games delegation

Paula Pinnock will travel as head of delegation for the special Olympic Jamaica contingent who are set to leave the island next Thursday to participate in the special Olympic world games in the United Arab Emirates .

The 97 member delegation which includes 73 athletes, and 22 coaches will fly the flag in both the cities of Dubai and Abhu Dhabi from March 14-21, but will leave a week earlier for acclimatization and training.

Jamaica will compete in athletics, bocce, roller skating, basketball, football, volleyball, badminton and swimming at the games.

 

Meanwhile sergeant Gladstone Sealy from the Jamaica Constabulary Force will be heading to Abu Dhabi for games.

He will be one of the law enforcement torch run- officers who will be taking the flame of hope inside the Zayed sports city stadium, in Abhu Dhabu on March 14 … where some 7500 athletes from 190 countries will be present.
