Prime Minister Andrew Holness has indicated that the Government will be putting in place additional protection for ecologically sensitive areas.

These include the Pedro Cays and the Dry Harbour Mountains.

Speaking in Parliament yesterday (March 17), Mr Holness pointed out that the laws will protect the land-based-areas from mining activity.
