Prime Minister Andrew Holness has sought to explain that the continuation of the no movement day restriction on Sundays, is not based on religious considerations.

This in the wake of more complaints by some church groups that members are being denied their right and freedom to worship on Sundays.

Speaking while on tour of vaccination sites in Manchester on Thursday (September 16) Mr. Holness explained that Saturdays are generally reserved for major commercial activity and therefore economically beneficial to the nation.
