PNP Northeast St Ann Candidate Election Tomorrow

All is now set for tomorrow’s (August 16, 2015) election of the People’s National Party candidate, for Northeast St. Ann.

Four men have been campaigning for several months ahead of tomorrow’s vote.

Mayor of St. Ann’s bay and Councillor for the Lime Hall Division, Desmond Gilmore is among the prospective candidates, which also includes, Councillor for the Ocho Rios Division, Dr Rohan Williams, Brown’s Town Businessman and Chairman of the Parish Development Committee, Anthony Charlie and Computer Specialist, Michael Ennis.

Registered delegates from all four divisions of the constituency – St Ann’s Bay, Limehall, Ocho Rios and Exchange – will cast their ballots are four polling stations to be established at the St Ann’s Bay Primary School.

Voting will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and the results are expected to be announced as soon as all the ballots are counted.

The JLP’s Shahine Robinson has represented the constituency since 2001.

The PNP has been without a candidate/caretaker since the resignation of Paul Stewart some two years ago.
