PNP President says his party is becoming more united

Opposition Leader and President of the People’s National Party (PNP) Mark Golding says the party is becoming more united day by day.

 

He made the statement at the party’s Evening of Excellence which was held in Kingston, as part of activities to commemorate the party’s 84th anniversary.

 

The party has been affected by dis-unity over the years.

 

Mr. Golding said members are working as a united force.

 

 

He added that the PNP is seeking to become a powerhouse for regional integration.

 

 

Meantime, Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Mitchell, who delivered the main address at the function, noted that there would be no Jamaica without the PNP.

 

He lauded former PNP leaders as champions of the Caribbean.
