The St. Ann police have cleared the main roads from Brown’s Town to Runaway Bay and Discovery Bay after they were blocked in several sections by residents.

Police confirmed that they received reports about the roadblocks from about 3 o clock this morning.

Reports to Irie FM News are that residents are protesting against the poor road conditions.

Head of the St. Ann police Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell advised commuters earlier this morning that the roads were blocked while noting efforts were being made to restore access.

Firefighters assisted the police in clearing the roadways.
