The Police Federation has submitted a letter to the Finance Ministry outlining the stance taken by its membership about the wage negotiation.
The letter details the Federation’s 2 week ultimatum on government to come with a better wage offer than the 6 percent increase already put on the table, for the 2017 – 2019 contract period.
Chairman of the Federation Sergeant Raymond Wilson says the government has not yet responded.
Yesterday, the police held island wide consultations and they again rejected the government’s offer, describing it as unsatisfactory.
The rank and file cops want the government to review its wage offer.
