by November 24th, 2020

The police continue to carry out investigations into two separate triple murders that took place over the weekend.

On Sunday, two young children and their 81-year-old grandmother were gunned down in the Tryall Heights community in Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

A day before, the bodies of three men were discovered along the Tobolski main road near Watt Town in St. Ann.

Head of the Corporate Communications Unit, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Stephanie Lindsay told Irie FM News this morning that no suspect has been identified in the St. Ann case, but additional information is being gathered to make a breakthrough.

She notes that the police are following good leads into the Tryall triple murder.

Responding to the calls for more police interventions and increased patrols in the Tryall community, SSP Lindsay said this can be looked into, but also advised that is important for residents to assist the police by providing information.
