Police have identified the female who died from injuries she sustained in a motor vehicle accident along the Rowlandsfield main road in St. Thomas yesterday (April 8).

She is 58-year-old Patrisha Brown of Warner Street, Port Maria in St. Mary.

Reports from the Golden Grove police are that at about 11:00 AM, Brown was a passenger in a Nissan Tiida motor car that was being driven along the roadway when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which rode an embankment, overturned, and caught fire.

Brown was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The driver and three other passengers were also taken to the hospital for treatment.
