by April 2nd, 2022

The police have intensified their presence in the Grants Pen area of St. Andrew following the killing of three men yesterday (April 1).

Dead are 42-year-old Joseph Smith, otherwise called ‘Joe’ and his brother 44-year-old, Bomsha Miller, otherwise called ‘Bombshell’, both of Morgan Lane, in Grants Pen, as well as 39-year-old Kevin Nesta of Seaview Gardens in Kingston.

Head of the Constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit, Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay says the men were killed around 5:50 PM, in what police theorize to be a gang-related conflict.

Meantime, Councillor for the Waterloo Division, Winston Ennis is appealing to residents to allow the police to carry out their investigation into yesterday’s triple killing.

Fearing that the incident might result in a reprisal, Councillor Ennis is urging residents to abide by the law and refrain from violence.
