The St. Andrew Central Police Division have increased efforts to apprehend 8 people named as persons of interest in relation to recent incidents in Bedward Gardens District, in August Town, St. Andrew.

The manhunt comes in the wake of a triple murder in April, with one of the victims being identified as the son of popular artiste, Sanchez.

Initially, the police listed 10 people, and subsequent to the appeal, two of them surrendered.

Superintendent in charge of operations for the St. Andrew Central Division, William Kessler said these two were questioned and released.

He said the remaining 8, who are believed to be affiliated with gangs, continue to wreak havoc on the community.

He said the police will be relentless in their efforts to rid the area of the alleged violence producers.
