The police are probing the suspected mob killing of a man on Burke Road in Old Harbour, St. Catherine yesterday.

The deceased has not yet been identified.

However, lawmen say he is of dark complexion, about 5 feet 10 inches long and appears to be in his 30s.

He was clad in a blue T-shirt, a pair of navy-blue shorts and a pair of navy-blue socks.

Police reports are that about 2:15 p.m., residents summoned them to the community, where the man was seen lying inside a yard with chop wounds.

He was pronounced dead at hospital.
