With the restrictions on the entertainment industry now lifted, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is reminding stakeholders that permits are needed to host events.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness announced yesterday (March 17) that the orders and COVID-19 containment measures, under the Disaster Risk Management Act (DRMA) will be withdrawn, effective today.
With the expiration of the curfew, entertainment events are now allowed.
In light of this development, JCF’s Senior Communications Strategist, Dennis Brooks notes that the police will be enforcing the laws associated with the Noise Abatement Act.
