Police Commissioner Dr Carl Williams says it’s intended to increase the visibility of members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

The police commissioner was speaking during yesterday’s (November 10) sitting of the internal external committee of parliament.

He was called before the committee to address the current runaway murder rate and the strategies being employed to curb crime and violence.

Dr Williams stated that his men and women will be hitting the streets.

He says the force is intensifying its arrest of persons wanted for murders and shootings.
