A man who was listed as a person of interest in a case of wounding with intent and illegal possession of firearm was arrested by the Portland police yesterday (June 5).

Head of the Portland police, Superintendent Kenneth Chin noted that Rushane Gray was detained during a targeted raid by a team of police personnel from the division.

Superintendent Chin said the police are following strong leads and will continue intelligence-led policing in solving this and other crimes committed in the parish.
