Only one of the 5 persons shot, at a party in Orange Bay Portland this morning (Jul 1) remains hospitalised.

The shooting resulted in the death of a pregnant woman and the wounding of her relatives.

Dead is 24-year-old Kimberley Baugh of Lower Layton, in Orange Bay. She was 5 months pregnant.

A relative has been taken into custody in connection to the shooting.

Police theorise that the matter is a domestic dispute, as it’s alleged that there was an altercation involving family members yesterday.

Reports from the Orange Bay police are that about 3:15 a.m. today, Baugh and four other relatives were conducting a clean-up exercise after a party, when two men allegedly armed with guns, approached and opened gunfire, hitting all five.

ASP Troyville Haughton of the Portland police says, 3 of the 4 wounded have been treated and released from hospital.

Baugh’s mother and brother are among the wounded.
