As efforts continue to locate 9-year-old Phylisa Prussia, who was reportedly abducted from her home in Bath St.Thomas, on Thursday (October 14) several public officials are utilizing their platforms to urge persons with information to come forward.
Among them, Prime Minister Andrew Holness, Opposition Leader Mark Golding and Entertainers Gramps Morgan and Popcaan.
In a social media post this morning (October 16), Prime Minister Andrew Holness tweeted “Phylisa Prussia, let’s bring her home.”
The police resumed their search for Phylisa at 5am this morning, after a 500 member search–team deployed in the community yesterday (October 15), was unsuccessful in locating the young girl.
Phylisa was last seen at home at about 7:10 p.m on Thursday, clad in a white blouse, and a pair of blue shorts.
She is of brown complexion, slim build and about 1 hundred and 37 centimetres, or
4 feet 6 inches tall.
Police theorize that she was taken by a man identified as Davian Bryan.
He has since been listed as a person of interest in the matter.
Head of the St. Thomas Police Division, Superintendent Allison Byfield, is urging persons including relatives of the suspect to aid the police in their investigation.
