Prime Minister Andrew Holness has indicated that he will be visiting the Denham Town community, in Kingston, soon.

Sections of the community have been under a Zone of Special Operation for several months, however, there has been an increase in reports of altercations between citizens and the security forces.

Speaking during a function in Kingston on Friday (May 6), the Prime Minister said he will be touring the community to meet with residents and members of the joint security team.

He said the government will never empower the security forces to abuse citizens.

The Prime Minister noted however that, the security forces will not be withdrawn from the Denham Town community.
