Prime Minister says gov’t has no plan to discontinue face-to-face engagement in schools

Prime Minister Andrew Holness has sought to assure citizens that despite the lingering Covid-19 pandemic, the government has no plan to discontinue face-to-face engagement in schools.

Face-to-face learning resumed in selected schools earlier this month.

Speaking in Parliament yesterday (November 16), the Prime Minister noted, that if cases of the virus are found in schools, sanitation and isolation measures will be conducted, but generally, schools will remain open.
