With the Atlantic Hurricane Season now underway, Prime Minister Andrew Holness is appealing to Jamaicans to start making preparations.

The Atlantic Hurricane Season officially began on Wednesday, June 1 and will end on November 30.

Mr. Holness notes that although preparation costs might seem too great, citizens should get ready for the season.

He suggests that Jamaicans should create a preparedness plan for protecting documents, securing homes, as well as storing food and water.
