by October 16th, 2018

Chairman of the Spanish Town Area Development Committee, Bishop Rohan Edwards says crime is down in the old capital, and a programme will be launched in November to end what he calls “border clashes”.

Bishop Edwards, who spoke  following his conferment  with the Order of Distinction  for  service to religion and community development at the National Honours and Awards ceremony  at King’s House yesterday (Oct 15) said further turnarounds are coming for Spanish Town.

He said the programme will entail sport, and the removal of zinc fences, among other initiatives.

He added that he is working in partnership with several groups to ensure that people can move freely across communities.
