Another high profile attorney has been taken into police custody in relation to fraud.

Don Foote, a former Jamaica Labour Party standard bearer for Eastern Westmoreland, was this morning arrested and charged for fraud.

He was offered bail, and is set to appear in court on May 26.

Foote is the latest in a string of high profile attorneys, who have been hauled before the courts, to answer to charges of fraudulent conversion.

The details of the allegations are yet to be made public.
