PSTEB issues over 3 thousand traffic tickets since Aug 29

The Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB) has reported that since its launch 2 weeks ago, the division has issued over 3,000 traffic tickets.

According to a Twitter post from the Jamaica Constabulary Force, in the bid to restore order in public spaces, between August 29 and September 7, the PSTEB issued 3,474 traffic tickets.

The division also reported the seizure of 52 vehicles.

Additionally, 304 speeding tickets were issued.

Meantime, 9 persons were arrested for various violations, and 199 summonses were served.

And, 6 registration plates were removed.
