Quada confirms split with PopCaan’s Unruly Camp

“So the speculations were true” is how some industry players and music lovers are responding after Dancehall deejay Quada finally confirmed that he has severed ties with PopCaan’s unruly camp.

The entertainer made the revelation during an On Stage interview with Winford Williams over the weekend.

According to Quada, the exit was amicable, citing that “it’s always love and respect to Popcaan and Unruly Entertainment.” In 2018, PopCaan signed Quada to hi Unruly Entertainment record label.

Now, the Dancehall artist manages his own career and is CEO of his Wellbad Entertainment music label.

In 2019, Quada was declared a suspect in the mob killing of a Sterling Castle resident. The Dancehall deejay maintains his innocence in the ongoing murder trial.
