Reggae Boyz goalkeeper Ryan Thompson has announced his retirement from football.

The former harbour view keeper was a part of the Jamaica under-20 squad in 2002-2005.

He made his full international debut in 2004 in an 11–1 victory over the US Virgin Islands and has been capped 20 times.

He was part of Jamaica’s roster for the 2015 Copa America tournament and was part of the Concacaf Gold cup squad that went to the final later that year.
