by January 9th, 2018

With just two days to go, preparations for the highly anticipated 25th anniversary of Rebel Salute are in high gear.

Despite the recent rains which have caused some flooding across the north coast, the organizers of Rebel Salute are confident that their venue at the Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in Priory St. Ann will be a go come this Friday and Saturday, having pre prepared for inclement weather from previous experience.

For the past two years Rebel Salute added to the experience by introducing the herb curb, an area designated to not only smoking but used as a part of its edutainment mission by promoting and showcasing marijuana and its various uses. In addition this year, there will be a designated lounge for smoking with seating and a live video feed of the main stage.

The 25th staging of Rebel Salute under the theme the ‘Preservation of Reggae’ is slated to take place this weekend.
