The Tourism Ministry says the recovery of the sector is still on track, despite the war in Ukraine, which is impacting Eastern Europe.

Senior Strategist in the ministry, Delano Seiveright says, based on an assessment of Jamaica’s main tourism source markets, the sector is still on a positive path to recovery.

Mr. Seiveright notes that the elimination of the jam covid app and the travel authorization process will also benefit the tourism sector.
