Reggae Boys slip five places on FIFA ladder

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz have continued their downward slide on the FIFA/Coca Cola world rankings.

Having being ranked 74th in May, the Reggae boys have now slipped a further 5 spots to 79th on the latest release to remain 2nd in the Caribbean and 6th in Concacaf overall.

Concacaf is led by Mexico who dropped a place to 17 followed by Costa Rica who are up one to 19, the United States 23 and Panama 59.

Haiti tops the Caribbean…….moving up a spot to 64…..10 places ahead of second placed Jamaica with Trinidad and Tobago third at 77.

Five time world champions Brazil meanwhile continue to lead the rankings ahead of South American rivals Argentina.

Reigning world champions Germany are third, followed by Copa America winners Chile in 4th and Columbia 5th.
