Reggae Boys squad named for Concacaf Nations League game against Bonaire

Outstanding schoolboy football goalkeeper Jeadine White is named among a twenty member reggae Boyz squad who will travel to face Bonaire in their second game in the Concacaf Nation’s league on Sunday in Curacao.

White who represents St Andrew technical and who made his senior debut last month in a friendly international against Equador in New Jersey is one of three goalkeepers in the squad including Andre Blake and Amal Knight.

The remainder of the squad is Michael hector, Darren mattocks, Cory burke, Jevaughn Watson, Peter Lee Vassell, Owayne Gordon, Damion Lowe, Ricardo Thomas, Javon east, Fabian Reid, Jamiel Hardware, Dane Kelly, Devon Williams, Fabian McCarthy and Shaun Francis.

Jamaica must continue to win these games decisively to have a chance of qualifying for the 2019 Concacaf Gold cup.

Importantly, also the League of Nations will inform a Concacaf ranking system that will be used as the basis for future World Cup qualifying seeding.

The local delegation departs on Thursday.

Following the game against Bonaire Jamaica will play its next home game in this tournament on Saturday, November 17 at the Montego Bay Sports complex.
