Reggae Girls one step closer to Concacaf Women’s Football championship Semi-Final

Jamaica’s national senior female footballers moved a step closer to booking a spot in the semi-final of the 2018 Concacaf women’s football championship.

This after they recorded an historic one nil win over group b ‘ rivals costa Rica at the H-E-B Park in Texas last night.

Khadijah bunny’ Shaw scored the all-important goal for the Jamaicans in the 46th minute

The reggae girls moved into second place in the standings, behind group b’ leaders Canada who crushed the hapless Cuba 12 nil.

Adriana Leon and Jordyn Huitema both netted four times for the North Americans in the one sided contest.

The top two  from each  group advance  to  the  knockout stage.

the  top  three  teams  automatically  qualify  for  the  FIFA Women’s  World  Cup  to be played in France next year.
