Reggae singer Lila Ike was unable to make her Toronto debut after negotiations fell through the cracks for an event in Canada on the weekend.

According to Lila Ike, her contractual obligations were not met. She also used her social media platform to apologize to fans and express that she was looking forward to the event.

The event dubbed Ladies First was held on Saturday and featured performances from dancehall deejay Spice, and Toronto’s Tiffany Malvo.

Meanwhile, efforts by Music News to get a comment from the organizers were futile.

Lila Ike recently wrapped up her “Where I’m Coming From” summer tour which saw her making stops in Belgium, Austria, Germany, and Spain before taking a trek to the United States for a show in Atlanta, Georgia.
