by June 8th, 2020

Selector Ricky Trooper has called out Prime Minister Andrew Holness, and the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) over the ignoring of social distancing protocols, stay at home orders, and a curfew put in place by the JLP government in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ricky Trooper is venting his frustrating about the double standards seen at a candlelight vigil held Saturday night for late MP, Shahine Robinson which saw the breaches of several Coronavirus protocols put in place by the government.

In a Music News interview, Ricky Trooper is demanding that Prime Minister Andrew Holness addresses the matter urgently.

In March, comedic actor, Bad Boy Trevor, who held a pool party, was jailed and charged with breaches of the Disaster Risk Management Act, the State of Emergency Act, the Spirit Licence Act and the Noise Abatement Act after violating the government’s COVID-19 restrictions.
