The National Road Safety Council is again calling for the regulations of the new Road Traffic Act to be passed.

Vice Chairman of the Council, Dr. Lucien Jones renewed the call in light of a rising number of road deaths.

Since the start of the year, 117 persons have been killed on the nation’s roadways.

Twenty-seven-year-old Corey Bedward, a bearer of Old Braeton, St. Catherine was killed in the latest crash, last evening (March 30).

Bedward was driving his motorcycle along the Dunbeholden main road, when the bike collided with bus.
