Tennis great Roger Federer will play at the Rogers Cup in Montreal for the first time since 2011 as he returns to the court after his Wimbledon success.
The Swiss maestro claimed his 19th Grand slam title with his win over Marin Cilic in the final at the all England club in July.
Now in preparation for the US Open, Federer will head to Montreal eyeing his third crown at the ATP 1000 event, as he seeks to build on his impressive 31-2 win-loss record for 2017 .
The US Open will be played in Flushing Meadow’s New York between August 28 and September 10.
