Ronald Levy the only Caribbean winner at the Edo Benedetti Memorial Track meet in Germany

Jamaica’s Ronald levy was the only Caribbean winner at the Edo Benedetti Memorial Track and Field meet in Rovereto, Germany on Thursday.

Levy, the 2018 commonwealth games champion and Pascal Martinot Lagarde, the European champion, crossed the line together and were both credited with the same time of 13.37 seconds.

However, levy got the nod for the gold medal.

The former Jamaican runner Jak Ali Harvey now representing turkey won the men’s 100 meters in 10.14 seconds.

Harvey crossed the line ahead mike Rodgers of the USA who stopped the clock 10.17seconds while Panama’s Alonso Edward was third in 10.21 seconds.

Jamaica’s Tyquendo Tracey was fifth in 10.27seconds.

Meanwhile, NACA silver medalist Tajay Gayle was unable to break the eight meters barrier registering a jump of 7.93metres to pick up the silver in the men’s long jump.

The gold went to Miltiadis Tentoglou of Greece who leapt 8 meters flat .
