Rovman Powell among West Indies players for Inaugural Sharjah T/10 Cricket

Jamaicans Chadwick Walton and Rovman Powell were today named among a total of 14 West Indies players who will turn out for the respective franchises in the Inagural Sharjah T/10 Cricket League in December.

Walton is among five Caribbean players turning out for the Kerala Kings.

He joins Kieron Pollard, Samuel Badree, Rayad Emritt and Nicolas Pooran.

Powell is among six Caribbean players named in the Bengal Tigers squad and is joined by Darren Sammy, Darren Bravo, Sunil Narine, Johnson Charles and Andre Fletcher.

West Indies captain Carlos Brathwaite will turn out for the Punjab Legends, while Dwayne Smith will represent team Pakhtoon.

The Sharjah for the T/10 Cricket League will run from December 14 to 17.

The matches in the tournament will last just 90 minutes and will be played at the Sharjah Cricket Ground.
