Rovman Powell to lead West Indies in their ODI leg of the ongoing Bangladesh tour

Jamaican all-rounder Rovman Powell will lead West Indies in their one day international leg of the ongoing Bangladesh tour.

Powell has been handed the reins on an interim basis in the absence of the injured Jason holder.

Batsman Darren Bravo, who had last played an one day international two years ago, T20 international captain Carlos Brathwaite and off-spin-bowling all-rounder Roston Chase all returned to the squad.

The chairman of selectors Courtney Browne, stated that in the absence of captain Holder, the panel believes the team can still be competitive, especially with the return of Darren bravo.

The full squad captained by Powell is completed by Marlon Samuels, Roston Chase, Devendra Bishoo, Chandrapaul Hemraj, Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Keemo Paul, Kieran Powell, Fabien Allen, Kemar Roach, Sunil Ambris and oshane Thomas.
