‘Mission’ is the message Dancehall singjay Rygin King is sending after surviving a horrific shooting incident that claimed the life of a female earlier this year.

The “Tuff” deejay who is still recovering, released the song titled ‘Mission’ on October 1, which marked the first time the Montego Bay deejay is publicly addressing the shooting and sharing with his fans his anticipation for better days.

In the track, Rygin King belted out, “Go tell dem seh we nah dead fi now cah we nuh ready fi die,” before singing his affirmation in the chorus, “All now mi nuh rich yet, but I’m gettin’ there/ I’m on a mission, the vision is clear/ When dem a wish death, order ma steps/ Everyday when mi touch di road…”

On June 28, Rygin King was rushed to the hospital following a gun attack in Westmorland by unknown assailants.
