Three days after being shot, Dancehall deejay Rygin King remains hospitalized.

The 25-year-old Montego Bay deejay who has since undergone a successful surgery reportedly remains in stable condition. Music News understands that Rygin King has since been transferred to a hospital in another parish.

According to the Jamaica Constabulary Force communication arm, CCU, on Sunday, June 28, a female, identified as Sasha Lee Blackwood, who was in the vehicle along with Rygin King, was also shot and has succumbed to her injuries.

On June 29, Rygin King’s management issued a thank you note stating, “Thank you for your prayers and concerns. The family, friends, and management team of Rygin King are kindly requesting privacy at this time as we continue and encourage everyone to pray for a speedy recovery.”
