Sandy gully, North gully to be cleaned under national mitigation programme

The government will focus on the clearing of some gullies as part of its national mitigation sanitation programme.

 

Over one billion dollars has been allocated for the programme which will run up to next year February.

 

Prime Minister Andrew Holness told parliament yesterday that the Sandy gully in Kingston, as well as the North gully in St. James will get much needed attention.

 

 

Meantime, the Prime Minister has indicated there will be strict adherence to procurement guidelines for the national mitigation programme, which will be overseen by the Integrity Commission.
