Schedule confirmed for qualifying phase of Concacaf Nations League

Jamaica’s Reggae Boys will meet the Cayman Islands on September 9 in their opening game of the Concacaf Nation’s League.

It was set in stone after the publication of the dates for the 68-match qualifying phase which is scheduled to take place during the four FIFA match windows of September, October and November 2018 and March 2019.

The Reggae Boyz after playing the Cayman Islands will next be in action on October 10 away to Bonaire.

The team returns to the field against Suriname on November 11 before ending the qualifying phase away to El Salvador on March 23.

The total points for each team, at the end of qualifying, will be compiled into an aggregate table that ranks participating teams 1-34 based on their on-field results.

The final standings of the qualifying phase will determine how teams are placed into Leagues A, B and C for the inaugural Concacaf Nations League Group Phase.

Additionally, the top ten finishers of the Nations League Qualifying final table will complete the list of sixteen teams that will qualify for the 2019 Gold Cup, joining the six teams that participated in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Hexagonal.
