School principal charged in connection with the fraudulent sale of land in St. Catherine granted bail

The school principal charged in connection with the fraudulent sale of government land in St. Catherine has been granted bail in the sum of 2 million dollars with surety.

Suelyn Ward-Brown was granted bail when she appeared in court, today (October 31).

She is to return to the St. Catherine Parish Court, on February 17, next year.

The crown is alleging that Ward-Brown, collected about 8 million dollars from 12 persons, as payment for government land, adjoining the Clifton community, in St. Catherine.

As a condition of her bail, the principal must report to the Portmore Police Station on Thursdays and Fridays.
