Disgruntled employees of the Vocational Training Development Institute (VTDI) and the National Council on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NCTVET) have taken industrial action.

The employees are staging a sit-in at their place of employment in Kingston.

Assistant Island Supervisor at the National Workers Union, Alexi Hull notes that the approximately 80 employees are upset that their concerns related to tenure and compensation have not been addressed by Government.

The workers had taken action earlier this year, however, their issues remain unresolved.
