Search efforts have continued today to locate the body of a teen, who is believed to have drowned while swimming with friends at Alligator Pond in Manchester yesterday (August 6).

He is 17-year-old Asafa Lowe, a mechanic of Endeavor District, close to Mile Gully in Manchester.

Police reports are that about 2:30 p.m., Lowe and friends were at a beach in Alligator Pond when he got into difficulties and is believed to have drowned. 

An alarm was raised, and a search mobilized, however authorities were unable to locate Lowe yesterday. 

The search continues today.
