The St. Ann police are searching for a man who stabbed and killed another in Ocho Rios, on Wednesday afternoon (February 22).

The deceased has not yet been formally identified, but IRIE FM News understands he went by the alias ‘Haitian’.

Preliminary reports are that around 3 PM, the men were at the Ocean Village shopping centre, when altercation developed between them.

A security guard reportedly tried to intervene but was unable to quell the dispute.

Both men reportedly brandished weapons and the dispute escalated into a fight, during which the man known as ‘Haitian’ was stabbed and killed.

His attacker fled the scene.
