Minister of National Security, Dr. Horace Chang says that based on the investigation being conducted into the murder of police officer, Constable Brian Martin, he is confident that the killers will be brought to justice swiftly.

Constable Martin, who was a part of the St Andrew Central police division was shot and killed on Saturday, at a wake in Frog City, Maxfield Park, St Andrew.

Dr. Chang, who was speaking to reporters during his visit to the officer’s home in Frog City this morning, noted that the police are working relentlessly to find the killers.

He lamented that despite taking a positive path in life, the cop’s life was taken tragically.

Dr. Chang also sympathized with the Constable’s family, as he pointed out that the family has seen its fair share of recurring trauma.

He made a commitment to provide the appropriate assistance to the grieving family.
